Google Analytics
US-based company Google places cookies through this website as part of its “Google Analytics” web analysis solution. We use this service to obtain insight into our website’s incoming and outgoing traffic and into the way our website is used. Based on this information, Motivaction can make modifications to the website and/or its service provision, if necessary.
Google Analytics services are configured in accordance with the manual for privacy-friendly configuration as enacted by the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This means that Motivaction has concluded a data processing agreement with Google for the use of Google Analytics. The agreement states that Google is not permitted to share this information with third parties unless Google is legally obligated to do so. Furthermore, we have not permitted Google to use the obtained analytics information for other Google services. Motivaction also does not use other Google services in combination with Google Analytics cookies.
The information that Google collects is anonymized to the greatest extent possible. The last eight digits of your IP address are expressly not provided. The information is transferred to Google and saved on servers in the US. Google states that it will adhere to the Privacy Shield principles and participates in the US Department of Commerce’s Privacy Shield program. This includes a suitable protection level for processing any personal data.
Social media buttons
Our website features buttons for promoting (“like”) or sharing (“share”) websites on social media networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. These buttons work thanks to pieces of code that come from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn themselves. Cookies are placed by means of this code. We cannot influence this in any way. Please read the Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn privacy statements (which can change regularly) to see what these sites do with your (personal) information that they process through these cookies.
