About Alessandra

Alessandra defines herself as a citizen of the world, who’s passionate about research, data, cultures and society. She joined Glocalities in 2017 as an intern, while busy obtaining her MSc in Sociology and Social Research. She has been working in a variety of projects in the FMCG, leisure, governmental and non-profit sectors. Years later she still enjoys continuously learning from the data and from the interaction with clients. Projects that aim to have a positive impact on the society and the environment are the ones closest to her heart. Alessandra's native languages are Italian and Spanish. She's also fluent in English and Portuguese.

Anne Blanksma Çeta

About Anne

Anne is specialized in political communications and socio-political trends research. He worked for 6 years at the Dutch Ministry Foreign Affairs and was seconded for 3 years as EU spokesperson in Kosovo. Since 2016 he works as Senior Strategy Consultant for Glocalities. Anne conducts international research and provides strategic advice to political parties, IGOs and NGOs.

A Canadian whose interest to join international consulting was peaked while studying abroad here in Amsterdam. He has previous work experience in the public and private sectors working on various analytical and business development projects.

Elaine has a background in psychology and applied neuroscience. She worked as R&D consultant in a SaaS company before joining Glocalities. Fatem A.B. Gzouny

About Fatem

Fatem is most passionate about culture, inclusion, gender, and empowerment. Forever curious, she has experience in different fields and has lived many lives in four countries in Europe and Africa.
Her experiences include Advocacy and Capacity-building for NGOs, Consultancy work for Universities and Content creation at a leading OTA. She was also a Mentor/Tutor to high-school students with learning challenges. Before moving back to Amsterdam, she worked for 5 years at an award-winning African Banking Group focused on rural development analyzing segment trends, monitoring and evaluating campaigns, supervising national research focused on Gender, designing, implementing and managing strategic projects relating to Financial Inclusion.
Since 2019, she works as Social Research Consultant for Glocalities, providing strategic advice on SRHR themes and supporting our Non-profit portfolio with precious insights and data-driven Communications Framing (e.g.: for Campaigns, Advocacy, etc.).
More than 30 NGOs have already benefitted from her eye-opening, team-building and strategic workshops in Europe and Asia. Fatem is multilingual (native French and Arabic speaker, fluent in English and Italian, intermediate in Dutch and Spanish) and defines herself as a facilitator and bridge-builder who relishes connecting dichotomies collaboratively.

About Hans

Hans is a research consultant at Glocalities, he is passionate and driven about cross-cultural research and intrigued by how brands and organizations can be successful across different countries and cultures. Next to helping clients, Hans is responsible for the development of the Glocalities research program and the development of the World of Glocalities tool. Being able to expand the Glocalities research program, learning about new and different cultures and using those insights for clients, is what drives Hans to continuously push the boundaries of Glocalities.

Maria Muravina

About Maria

After finishing masters in behavioural economics, Maria joined the Glocalities programme. As a project leader, Maria brainstorms together with the client on the optimal research setup, overlooks the fieldwork, writes reports and assists in workshops to transform insights into actionable recommendations. Maria has worked within the FMCG sector from consulting start-ups on finding their target audience and developing an entry and growth strategy, to assisting multinational corporations in understanding the multicultural markets and navigating cultural differences, to helping build social campaigns using the right framing.

Martijn Lampert is Research Director and Co-founder of Glocalities.
Martijn leads the Glocalities values, cultures, and trends research program covering 32 countries, based on interviews with more than 230,000 respondents. He is fascinated by people’s inner and outer drivers, structures of meaning and world mythology. Martijn has more than 2 decades of experience in conducting values-based research and helping organizations connect with audiences at a deeper level. Lampert’s mission is to contribute to a higher level of understanding between people, organizations and cultures.
Lampert leads the development of the automated World of Glocalities application for generating instant insights into audiences around the world. Martijn assists multinationals, NGO’s and governments in using social intelligence to achieve their goals in an ever-changing sociocultural context. He is a TEDx speaker and frequently publishes and lectures about audiences, cross-cultural trends, and sustainability. With his research insights and consultancy Lampert focuses on enabling a new generation of changemakers in the non-profit, commercial and public sector to realize the Sustainable Development Goals set for 2030.

As a principal and the Consumer Good Lead at Glocalities, Martin works closely together with FMCG companies on strategic marketing and branding issues. His specialities are growth strategies across markets, new market entries and branding. Martin has an MBA from IESE in Barcelona and a Masters in agricultural engineering from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.

Having a background in the social sciences and international development studies (cum laude), Panos has been involved in numerous projects for the non-profit sector, culture & leisure, the travel industry as well as projects relating to Corporate Social Responsibility. He is certified in Consumer Marketing (NIMA B) and project management (PRINCE2). Furthermore, Panos takes care of team planning and mentors new colleagues.

Roel Schoemaker

About Roel

Roel Schoemaker (1963) has a background in social science and has been affiliated with Motivaction International and Glocalities since 1992, currently as Principal Strategy Consultant. Since 1999 he has been advising clients on aspects that affect the lives of consumers in the areas of living, working, shopping and leisure. Roel places the consumer experience at the center and comes from this perspective to advise on target group identification, profiling, finetuning brand positioning and designing growth strategies for our clients.

In 2018 she joined Glocalities, where she is responsible for helping large organizations solve complex industry-specific problems and improve their global branding, marketing, and communication strategy. She has a knack for integrating qualitative and quantitative insights and loves to help clients create more impact by leading strategic and tactical workshops focused on persona, campaign and new product development and finding the right brand partnerships. Romany previously spearheaded a large scale research study into human values and developed a value-based segmentation model for the Dutch Market. Furthermore, she created a behavioral insights model that helps organizations facilitate positive behavioral change within their target audience. She runs the Entertainment & Music Division.

Sander has a long-time experience in values research and segmentation studies. Previously he worked for 10 years at Glocalities’ parent company Motivaction. With a background as a culture and religion psychologist, Sander has advised a wide range of organizations on positioning, communications, and marketing; from government agencies to retail banks to broadcasting companies.
