The Glocalities program uses the experiences and values of international audiences as its starting point. The program has everything in place to help clients in making the right choices to be able to grow in a challenging international playing field. We advise many leading multinationals, NGOs and governments with fact-based insights in the areas of positioning, dealing with cultural differences, communications, and (digital) marketing.
Thanks to the rich Glocalities database, the fast-growing team of 12 international experts, and our international experience and publications in media worldwide, we have established a solid base for our further development in the world market. The Glocalities philosophy – “Step into the shoes of your audience” – builds on the success of Mentality research in the Netherlands and responds to the rapidly changing international demand for cross-cultural knowledge and advice. We believe that strategic and tactical insights must be ‘unlocked’ digitally, be visually appealing and offer practical input for activating target audiences. The unique “World of Glocalities” application makes all this possible, in combination with deep-dive analyses and consultancy.
The management team of Glocalities International B.V. consists of Pieter Paul Verheggen and Martijn Lampert. Motivaction and Glocalities are and will remain closely connected. The Glocalities team will remain at the same address as Motivaction in Amsterdam.

International Values-Research of Motivaction Now Independent Company: Glocalities
Amsterdam-based research agency Motivaction announces a new milestone: the international insights program Glocalities has become a separate company called Glocalities International B.V. The new company focuses on facilitating international growth with in-depth insights into the values and lifestyles of international target groups.
Pieter Paul Verheggen (CEO Glocalities & Motivaction): “Five years ago, Motivaction took the first serious steps towards creating the Glocalities research program, an international podium for values and lifestyle based research and marketing communications. Since then, there are numerous clients who use our insights to serve international audiences successfully, and to enter new markets. Over the past years, in context of Glocalities research, more than 165,000 people from 27 countries have been questioned in depth about values, lifestyles, trends, consumption behavior, sustainability and cultural differences: from Sweden to South Africa and from China to Canada. Motivaction and Glocalities are and will remain closely connected as part of Motivaction International Holding (MIH), and both companies are operating under one roof at the Marnixkade in Amsterdam.
