The role

We are looking for a highly effective online marketing expert who will help us to build the Glocalities brand successfully worldwide. You will have the primary responsibility for building and executing the online marketing strategy of Glocalities. You will use your abilities to create and execute an online marketing strategy for B2B-products in a professional services environment and actively aim for conversion with a deep understanding of marketing automation and website optimization.

Our Marketing Manager must:

• Write excellent business English
• Have proven to be successful as a marketing professional
• Have an inspiring opinion about branding and positioning and know how to translate that into action
• Experience with conversion driven websites, lead generation and marketing automation
• Hold a bachelor’s or a master’s degree in marketing, media or communication studies
• Currently live in the Netherlands, within reasonable traveling distance of Amsterdam

Profile and Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s program or recently graduated (max. 6 months ago) with a Master’s degree in: International business studies, social sciences (Sociology, Social Geography, Psychology), Marketing, or Communication Science
  • Knowledge of segmentation, marketing and/or relevant marketing trends
  • Self-starter with a hands-on attitude and the ability to work autonomously 
  • International background and international orientation
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English
  • Basic Dutch communication skills (ideally basic/ intermediate business Dutch)
  • Experienced with Excel, PowerPoint, and SPSS
  • You have to be eligible to work in the Netherlands for at least 7 months
Internship Details
  • Duration:  6 months
  • Start date: February 2020
  • Hours: 5 days
  • Compensation: € 450,- per month for a Masters student (for recent graduates the compensation is € 600,- per month)
